| Abstract |
HIPAA is an US federal regulation introduced in 1996 to streamline the process by which healthcare is provided and paid for. HIPAA has a major impact on US healthcare organizations in terms of the Administration Simplification clause which requires all covered entities to standardize their information, along with implementing privacy and security standards.
This session will introduce HIPAA and the opportunities for firms to provide HIPAA compliance services to US based clients. |
